Tremor Tracker App Reviews

Best graphical earthquake app

This application is easy to use and provides the best global graphical interface of any of the earthquake applications. It also allows you to easily toggle to check on earthquakes daily or even hourly. Perhaps the application title should be altered so that it comes up in a search of earthquake apps in the app store. Amazingly, this app is totally free and has no ads. Hopefully the developer will update this app to work with iOS 10 when it comes out. Thank you to the developer for providing such a nice app that is totally free.

Great app!

Love the app no ads no gimmicks just the information you want with innovative delivery system.

Simplicity & functionality

Functional simplicity with intuitive, natural use of gestures to get seismic information you need now.

Clever user interface

The user interface for this app is intuitive, elegantly simple and very effective. And the app is good too :-)

Fantastic graphics

Love this app - Im interested in tracking earthquakes as I live on the West coast. Ive had a few different earthquake apps but when I came across this one I was really impressed with the function and beautiful graphics. Definitely my go-to app for tracking now!

Not working

I have an iPod touch fifth generation and none of the earthquake icons load.... Its just an empty map

Works well

I used this just last night to check out the recent earthquake we had that everyone felt but us

Genius!

I love that it updates every 2 minutes and that you can zoom in.

Excellent App

Tremor tracker is a very handy addition to my iPhone. I very much enjoy being up to date on earthquakes since my family lives many miles apart. Using this app I can see in real time what is happening.

Nice

A clean, consistent display of the relevant data. And hey, free.

Love this app

No extra garbage. Just what I want. Easy to see quake levels and locations. Spherical, rotating earth with zoom capabilities really provides my visual processing mind with an actual feel of where, when and how much this little planet is moving.

Best earthquake notification app

Very fun and informative. ...check it out everyday at least once

Great app

Definitely a nifty tool if you are into global happenings.

Tremor app!

This is amazing! Anyone who wants to be on top of earthquake activity around the planet for school projects, current events or basic interest THIS IS THE APP! Updates every 5 mins! I find it fascinating how much activity is going on & how very little of it hits the news!! Just a great tool to get info news media tend to ignore! The wild fire app is another awesome app to download!

This is a Good Application

Currency of data, graphic display and UI are intuitive, enabling easy interaction. Very useful to geoscientists!

Great app

Love how you can search the whole earth. Helpful for seeing, hour, day, week, month. I even like how the app will show you if the earthquake has a tsunami warning!

Awesome

I really do love this app!

Cool!!

Very useful app for anyone interested in earthquakes and earthquake research. Very educational and highly recommended.

Not very time sensitive.

There was a 7.2 magnitude quake (pretty big) in Mexico about 90 minutes ago. There is nothing that shows you within this app. I was alerted by a news app. Even hunting for a known quake is pointless with this app. Dont expect to see anything right after it happens. This example makes this app a total waste of money.

Needs this feature

This is a nice app but what it really needs is the ability to utilize the iPhone accelerometer to detect earthquakes and automatically share that data to the cloud and/or the USGS. Only when enough similar readings are detected from a certain region within a narrow timeframe would the data be considered legitimate and then be pushed back out to the map for all users to view. The app could also be active only at certain times of the day/night that the user defines. As well as only be active when connected to pre-defined wifi networks. Such as Home or work. Another option would be to only take accelerometer reading when it is plugged into power (such as when on your night stand or connected to a computer USB). The app could also use the iPhone GPS to disable sensor reading when moving. As well as only record seismic data when the app detects the iPhone is laying flat on its back. Another option would be to disable the seismic sensor data output when a face is detected with the front facing camera. Requiring the app to be running in the foreground would also further prevent false readings. This could easily, quickly, and cheaply create a huge network of seismographs around the world.
